Conversation skills
In order to practise and increase children conversation skills we are promoting some routines where kids need to interact with other kids in English.
With our main characters as paper puppets we have used a small theatre and kids have taken the roles of Frankie, Dizzy, Spot and Tex. They have been practising some expressions as "What's your name? Do you want to come swimming..."
Also note that we have designed a new video to practise and review vocabulary. In order to have fun while learning we have introduced some of kids favourite songs in this video. Soon we will upload this video , so kids can have a practise whenever they want.

Cold, cold January :(
Dear All,
Please note that in this cold, cold month we are working on new projects in order to have fun while learning English.
The main objectives, as usual, is to be able to learn some words an expresions not only through the book but through interaction with pupils and teacher. One of the activities we have designed for this term is an interactive video where kids must name the objects they see on the White Board, and get ready to dance when they hear the song:
The songs kids know how to dance are:
Head shoulders Knees and toes:
A ram sam sam:
Superman:
If you are happy and you know it:
With Cérvols we have been reviewing the body parts, so we have been creating strange characters on the board, students were drawing the parts on the board following teacher instructions:
Also we have been practising the rols of teacher and pupil. So in couples one was showing the flaschards to the other kid. This simple activity is really helpful. They feel great to be the teacher for one day, they even wear Al's overall, they have to place the flashcard in the correct place, a pile for the correct ones and a pile for the words the pupil has not known or said wrong.
On Tuesdays and Thursdays we practice English with the kids that arrive at School at 14:30 from home so we spend some minutes playing together. We may build some nice construction, read a book, or build some imposible shapes with plasticine, whatever is the activity they choose we spend some time playing together.
